Lara is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA), completing their MA Theatre Lab program. With an impressive list of credits to her name, Lara is perhaps best known to audiences for her work in the ABC comedy Upper Middle Bogan. She was also in the US miniseries Childhood’s End, for the SyFy Network, and, more recently, she played Montana in The BBQ, alongside Shane Jacobson and Magda Szubanski.

Prior feature credits include The Long Weekend and Knowing, from director Alex Proyas. Working opposite Nicholas Cage and Rose Byrne, Lara played both Byrne’s daughter Abby, as well as her mother Lucinda in flashback scenes.

In 2011 Lara played Young Rose in the adaptation of the Tim Winton novel Cloudstreet opposite a stellar cast. It is for this role that Lara was honoured with an AACTA Best Young Actor Award and a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Drama, and an ASTRA award for Best New Talent.

Other credits include City Homicide, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Winners and Losers, The Doctor Blake Mysteries and web series Fancy Boy.

Lara is a talented singer and musician with advanced skills in both piano and clarinet, and training in dance.
